A Voice For Victims For Over 25 Years

Sexual Abuse Survivors

The attorneys of Penn Law have extensive experience in representing survivors of childhood sexual abuse in civil lawsuits against their abusers and the organizations that failed to protect them. We’ve supported clients seeking justice from the Catholic Church, Boy Scouts of America, and high-profile boarding schools. We work to provide survivors with justice, healing, and closure by holding abusers and entities accountable. Our team has an understanding of the immense courage it takes to acknowledge the devastating harm caused by sexual abuse.

Our attorneys serve survivors who seek to hold abusers, and the businesses and institutions where they work or volunteer, accountable in a court of law. We understand the emotional and psychological obstacles they face.

Filing a lawsuit will not take away the memories of abuse or the years of pain endured, but it is the best way to help that victim receive some measure of justice. Vigorous advocacy for survivors of sexual abuse can also help prevent others from becoming victims. The injuries and damages in these cases are far-reaching and continue for the rest of a victim’s life. The attorneys at Penn Law recognize this fact and fight to get compensation for their clients for these devastating, and often lifelong, damages.

Child Molestation - Penn Law LLC

If you or someone you know has been the victim of sexual abuse at the hands of a representative of the Southern Baptist Convention or its churches, please contact us.

A comprehensive report released by the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) reveals that the religious governing body has been purposely mishandling sexual abuse accusations against church leaders for more than 20 years. The report found that survivors who reported abuse were ignored, disbelieved, or met with inaction. Many of the allegations were not only disregarded but some survivors were even intimidated by leaders while their abusers remained protected. The report shows that even though SBC knew there was a problem, the organization woefully failed to take adequate steps toward preventing further abuse. Sexual abuse cases require a specialized skill set and level of expertise involving applicable Georgia law. At Penn Law, we recognize that these cases have a long-reaching impact that lasts for a victim’s entire life and not just the life-span of the case.
