Biography
Amy is the Firm Administrator for Penn Law LLC. In addition to overseeing the firm’s daily business operations, she handles all aspects of the firm’s administration, accounting, information technology and human resources. Amy began her career as a paralegal having worked her way up to senior paralegal and even continues to provide paralegal support today when needed. Amy can (and has) pretty much do it all when it comes to keeping the firm up and running! She simply does not believe in the word “can’t.”
Amy graduated with Honors from the National Center for Paralegal Training and has over 15 years of hands on experience as a senior litigation and trial paralegal. Amy has worked in the areas of product liability, medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases, to list only a few of the types of complex cases she has supported. Amy takes great pride in the work she does for Penn Law and our clients. One of her proudest paralegal achievements was working alongside Darren Penn as the lead paralegal in a defective tire case tried to a $16,520,000.00 verdict in 2013 for the family of a man that died when one of the tires separated and caused the van he was riding in to rollover. Amy worked directly with Darren for nearly 10 years at the previous firm he founded, Harris Penn Lowry LLP. When Darren left HPL to start Penn Law, it was a natural choice for her to move along with him.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys being at home in the small town of Mansfield just outside of Covington, GA with her family and three rescue dogs Gus, Charlie and Louis. Nothing can beat the change of pace from working in the city to enjoying time in the wide open spaces of home with her family. Amy also enjoys gardening, sewing and is an active member of the Cotton Boll Quilt Guild.
