Biography
Kevin is a seasoned attorney with Penn Law specializing in complex personal injury cases covering a wide range of legal issues, including wrongful death, childhood sexual abuse, insurance bad faith, toxic environmental torts, vehicular/trucking collisions, and medical negligence.
Kevin's vigorous representation has recovered millions for his clients. Recently, Kevin helped secure a $345 million judgment on behalf of 20 survivors of childhood sexual abuse against five insurance companies who wrongfully denied coverage. Other highlights include a $10 million toxic tort settlement, a $6 million institutional childhood sexual abuse settlement, and a $5 million wrongful death recovery against a trucking company.
Active in the Georgia legal community, Kevin has authored several amicus briefs on behalf of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA) and American Association for Justice (AAJ) in high-profile cases before the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals.
A Clemson University alumnus, Kevin's academic background in microbiology and early career in genetic toxicology lend a unique perspective to his legal expertise. Kevin later earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law where he served as an Articles Editor for the Intellectual Property Law Journal and actively represented survivors of childhood sexual abuse through UGA Law’s Wilbanks CEASE Clinic. Kevin's commitment to justice was further acknowledged through his selection to the E. Wycliffe Orr, Sr. American Inn of Court during his final year.
In his spare time, Kevin enjoys running, playing sports, and watching Clemson football. He is a member of Atlanta Westside Presbyterian Church and lives in Sandy Springs with his wife.
